You can buy this Tourist Ticket in the office at the Avenida el Sol 103, close to the Plaza de Armas and next to the Banco de Crédito. In the same building you’ll find the Museum of Popular Art. Tickets cost 130 nuevos soles (45 dollars, 42 euros; students with an official ISIC card pay 50%) and are only valid for 10 days. You can buy the tourist ticket as well at the entrances of all the sites.Persons who want to do the classic City Tour or the Sacred Valley Tour have to buy the ticket. The Boleto Turístico is not included in the price of these tours. You don’t need the tourist ticket for our own developed 'Cusco de los Cusqueños Tour'. With the Boleto Turístico you can visit:- Ruins outside Cusco: Saqsaywaman, Q’enqo, Pukapukara, Tambomachay, Tipon and Pikillacta.- Archaeological sites in the Sacred Valley: Chinchero, Pisaq and Ollantaytambo. - Museums in Cusco: - Museo de Arte y Monasterio de Santa Catalina: Paintings from the School of Cusco, almost all from the 17th and 18th century in baroque style. Most impressive though are the mural paintings made from natural products in one of the rooms of the Monastery. - Museo de Arte Popular: Every 24th of December Cusco is the scene of an art competition. Artists compete for a honourable place of their work in the Museum of Popular Art. Works are mostly religiously inspired. As well, you find here a collection of photos of Cusco from the first half of the 20th century. - Museo de Sitio del Qoricancha: The Site Museum of the Sun Temple of the Incas has a modest collection of (pre-) Inca tools, ceramic, textiles and mummies and provides a brief explanation (most of it only in Spanish) of the history of the region, the function of Qoricancha and some Inca beliefs and practices like brain surgery. This museum can be compared to the larger and more interesting Museo Inka (not included in the Tourist Ticket, entrance fee: 10 nuevos soles). - Centro Qosqo de Arte Nativo: Those interested in traditional dances should visit this centre, opened only 1,5 hours in the early night. - Monumento Pachaquteq: Just outside the city centre, this monument provides an excellent view over Cusco. - Museo Histórico Regional (Casa Garcilaso): This pleasant museum, in the house where once the most important chronicler of Inca life lived, has a collection, comparable to that of Qoricancha. You find here as well paintings, tools and furniture from the Colonial Period. Better organised than most museums in Cusco, the explanations are, again, only in Spanish. - Museo Municipal de Arte Contemporáneo: In the town hall of Cusco you’ll find a collection of contemporary paintings, some of them for sale (prices vary between $ 100 - $ 300). As well an interesting collection of photos and explanation (in English!) from the organisation that is leading archaeological expeditions near Machu Picchu and in the Sacred Valley. You can also choose to buy a 'Circuit Ticket':Costs are 40 nuevos soles. This ticket is valid for one day and for one of the following circuits:- Circuit: Museo de Arte y Monasterio de Santa Catalina, Museo de Arte Popular, Museo de Sitio del Qoricancha, Centro Qosqo de Arte Nativo, Monumento Pachaquteq, Museo Histórico Regional, Museo Municipal de Arte Contemporáneo. - Circuit: Saqsaywaman, Q’enqo, Pukapukara, Tambomachay. - Circuit: Chinchero, Pisaq and Ollantaytambo.
